Laura Moretti MS, RD, CSSD, LDN

Laura completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition and Didactic Program in Clinical Dietetics at New York University’s Steinhardt School. She completed her dietetic internship at New York Presbyterian including intensive training at the Weill Cornell Medical Center inpatient eating disorder treatment program. Laura is a Board Certified Sports Dietitian (CSSD) specializing in sports performance based nutrition as well as treating low energy availability, disordered eating, and eating disorders in athletes. After spending six years as the Primary Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Therapist at Appleman Nutrition and Columbus Park Collaborative in New York City,  Laura moved to Boston to take on her current role as Dietitian in the Division of Sports Medicine and the Female Athlete Program at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Laura is the co-chair for the Sport and Exercise Special Interest Group of the International Academy of Eating Disorders, an instructor at the Institute for Rowing Leadership, and the consulting dietitian for the Boston Ballet Company and Schools.  She is an active member of the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitian Association, The International Academy of Eating Disorders, Sports/Cardiovascular/Wellness Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the American College of Sports Medicine. Laura is also an avid skier,  competitive triathlete, and a Boston Marathon Qualifier and Finisher.

Emilie Burgess MS, RDN, LDN

Emilie completed her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics at the University of Connecticut, where she competed as a Division I tennis player. She went on to obtain her Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Food Science, and completed a dietetic internship at West Virginia University. Emilie began her dietetic career at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston as a Clinical Dietitian, and then accepted a position at the Cambridge Eating Disorder Center (CEDC) as a Registered Dietitian. Along with her inpatient and eating disorder experience, Emilie has volunteered for two U.S. Division I sports nutrition programs. Emilie currently works at Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital program, and is planning to become a board certified sports dietitian within the next year. She is an active tennis player, skier, hiker, and traveler.
